The richly decorated and grand wooden house, commissioned by former owner Captain Konga in 1899, was completely reconstructed in two stages – the general construction-restoration of the building took place from 2021 to 2022, and the attic floor was converted into living space in 2023. The goal was to preserve as many original wooden decorative details in the exterior facade and general part of the building as possible.
Restoration projects are always complex. They require careful planning, precision, and respect for historical heritage. The result of heartfelt work is a restored building that contributes to the preservation of the historic Kadriorg area. The city of Tallinn recognized Perton Ehitus for the exemplary restoration of Köleri 10 in Kadriorg.
