Yesterday, the city of Tallinn recognized Perton Ehitus for their outstanding work in restoring the Köleri 10 building. This project once again proves how Perton Ehitus performs its work with true dedication, making the quality of the final result a top priority. But what does this recognition really mean and why is it so important?
Kadriorg, known for its rich history and architectural beauty, is one of the most beautiful areas in Tallinn. The Köleri 10 building, located right in the heart of Kadriorg, has witnessed a long history. Perton Ehitus took on the task of restoring this architectural gem. The richly decorated and grand wooden house, commissioned by former owner Captain Konga in 1899, was completely reconstructed in two stages – the general construction-restoration of the building took place from 2021 to 2022, and the attic floor was converted into living space in 2023. The goal was to preserve as many original wooden decorative details in the exterior facade and general part of the building as possible.
Restoration projects are always complex. They require careful planning, precision, and respect for historical heritage. The result of heartfelt work is a restored building that contributes to the preservation of the historic Kadriorg area. The recognition from the city of Tallinn affirms that Perton Ehitus is not only a construction company but also a guardian of culture and history.
