The beginning of July marks the final phase of construction works of Milieu Building. The wall constructions of the third floor, supporting walls, and the firewall with Wismari 29 building will be finished.
We are also busy with sanitary works: installing utility lines of sewage, water and heating. Preparing for the installation of the gas stove in the basement, which will provide central heating through the water pipes under the floors.
Roofing works will begin in the middle of the month. The roof is made of varying levels of tin batten with large skylight windows.
Electrical works of the building will commence. The first job on the façade will be insulation. The exterior of the building will soon be accentuated with large window openings and a contemporary solution for a wooden façade, which complies with other wooden buildings of Kassisaba and Wismari areas. By the end of summer, triple glazed windows together with apartment based forced ventilation systems will be in place helping to improve energy efficieny and cut down utilities.
